Getting together with bloggers is never much of a challenge when there is food involved. Especially when we are talking ‘loaded burgers covered in melted raclette cheese’ and sticky BBQ chicken wings.
You may have seen ‘The Joints’ monster burgers splattered across Instagram (yes they are those ones!). Not only do they have a decent selection of burgers but they have a mouth-watering array of starters to prepare you for the main event.
Situated in the heart of Brixton village, you’ll find ‘The Joint’ right in the center of this street food quarter. With rustic furniture, a clear menu and a selection of wine it’s an ideal foodie pit stop. With friends, family or even if you fancy a cheeky burger to yourself – they have it covered.
If you have never been to Brixton (like I hadn’t’) you should jump on the tube and explore it (Southbound on the Victoria Line). Brixton village is a little-sheltered market making it perfect to visit no matter what the weather, with side streets littered with cafes, restaurants, and shops. You’ll leave full of fresh food, not spent a fortune and have a heap of photos to share.
Sat undercover but with oodles of natural light, ‘The Joint’ was the perfect location to catch up with some of London’s loveliest bloggers, You-tubers, and photographers. Passers-by did seem a little confused at the sight of 12 people all photographing each other’s food, pointing cameras at each other and vlogging around the table – we just get excited by pretty food!
Planning Your Visit: Once you have that date in the diary to visit ‘The Joint’, you can look forward to ordering my favorite starter: Deep Fried Mac n Cheese (dip it in the blue cheese sauce for double the cheese). Absolute triple yum. They are even better than you are imagining.
My burger choice was the ‘Asian shredded chicken’ and I chose to have that in a Bun (wrap option also available) – of course, I said yes to the raclette cheese. If you are still hungry after all of that their addictive sides and extras will fill the gap.
No need to book, just head on down to ‘The Joint’ in Brixton village soon and try the Ribs, Brisket, Wings and Burger experience for yourself.
